We’re based out of Vale, NC which is conveniently located between Hickory, Morganton, Lincolnton, Shelby, Newton and Cherryville, however our service area extends throughout the Foothills of North Carolina and the Upstate of  South Carolina.

 

Where do I find pricing information?

Start by filling out this quick Questionnaire and let us know what you're looking for.  We can typically provide a rough ESTIMATE online for free, when provided with sufficient details and any photos you can submit.

After we send the rough ESTIMATE online, if you'd like to move forward, we can schedule a time to walk the property with the client before issuing the QUOTE.

Since there are so many factors to consider when it comes to the services we provide, it's necessary to assess the property for potential safety hazards and to make sure we fully understand your vision and are able to address all questions and concerns to ensure an accurate QUOTE.

How long does a typical project take?

Project timelines vary based on the scope and complexity of the job. Once we evaluate your needs, we’ll provide an estimated timeline with your estimate.​

​Do you offer discounted rates for Veterans, Active Military or Others?

​

Yes. We're honored to offer a 10% discount for our Veterans and the families of those who are currently serving. Please understand that OUR discount can only be applied to OUR labor charges. Some retailers do offer service member discounts on Materials (i.e. gravel, mulch, landscape supplies, etc...) as long as the client directly pays them for the materials.

What are your qualifications & are you Insured?

We are Insured, OSHA Certified, Pre-Qualified by the NC Small Business Enterprise Program, as well as the Small Business Administration and have well over a decade in experience.

FORESTRY MULCHING FAQ'S

Do you charge by the Acre for Forestry Mulching?

​

We charge by the machine hour because some acres take less than 2 hours and others can take up to 10 hours, depending on the terrain, and the volume, type and size of the trees being mulched, etc...  Once we're able to walk and assess your property and discuss what your goals are, we'll be able to provide a very close estimate of  the hours needed to complete the project.​​

A machine hour means that you pay only for time the machine is actually mulching, and is measured by the machine's meter, to the nearest one tenth of an hour.

Do you offer payment plans, I don't want to exceed my budget?

 

We are committed to helping you stay within your budget. Our approach involves creating a plan that prioritizes your key objectives, keeping you updated on progress regularly, and reassessing as necessary to avoid any unexpected billing surprises.  Under certain conditions, we are sometimes willing to negotiate a payment plan option.

Is Forestry Mulching environmentally friendly?

Forestry mulching is by far the most environmentally friendly means of clearing land for several reasons. Unlike traditional methods which involve burning, or multiple pieces of heavy equipment requiring dump trucks to haul material away, Forestry Mulching uses one machine, which grinds the material into a fine mulch that protects against erosion and naturally releases nutrients back into the soil over time. ​​​

What should I do to prepare my property before you begin?

We recommend removing any vehicles, personal items, debris, or obstacles from the work area. If there are specific areas you want to preserve, please let us know in advance.

​Do you require a deposit?​

​

After you receive a Quote and decide to move forward, we do require a 250 dollar deposit prior to scheduling.  Should you need to cancel for any reason, the deposit IS FULLY REFUNDABLE, as long as the cancellation is made at least 7 days prior to the project's scheduled start date. Quote's remain valid for 90 days.
